Helen J. Murphy 1906 - 2009 Basehor
Basehor — Funeral services for Helen J. Murphy, 103, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Basehor. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Leavenworth.
Miss Murphy, formerly of Basehor, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2009, in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Sept. 3, 1906, the daughter of John and Katherine Eibes Murphy.
She retired in 1971 from Sears as an office worker in Kansas City, Mo. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church and its altar Society.
Survivors include 13 nieces and nephews, and 18 grandnieces and grandnephews.
A rosary will be recited and the family will meet friends one hour before the service at the church.
The family suggests memorials to the church building fund or to youth programs of the parish, sent in care of Quisenberry Funeral Home, P.O. Box 993, Tonganoxie, KS 66086.
