Aspen Dawn Bailey 1988 - 2009 Heavener, Okla.
McPherson — A funeral service for Aspen Dawn Bailey, 20, Heavener, Okla., will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Glidden-Ediger Chapel in McPherson. Burial will be at McPherson Cemetery.
Ms. Bailey, formerly of Lawrence, died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, in Heavener, Okla.
She was born Oct. 17, 1988, in Topeka, the daughter of Stephen R. and Connie S. Sitts Bailey. She attended the Alternative High School in McPherson.
Ms. Bailey worked for M.C.D.S. of McPherson as a caretaker. She also worked for Cenex Gas Station in McPherson as an attendant.
Survivors include her parents, McPherson; a sister, Elizabeth R. Bailey, McPherson; two grandmothers, Karen Sitts, McPherson, and Elizabeth Alejos, Olathe; a grandfather, Rudy Bailey, St. Louis; a step-grandfather, Arnold Barraclough, of Oklahoma; and a great-grandmother, Bernadine Kimble, Lyons.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The family suggest memorials to the Aspen Dawn Bailey Memorial Fund, sent in care of the chapel, 222 W. Euclid Street, McPherson, KS 67460.
