Charles Richard Logan 1944 - 2009 Big Springs
Big Springs — Funeral services for Charles Richard Logan, 64, Lecompton, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Big Springs United Methodist Church, 96 U.S. Highway 40. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery.
Mr. Logan died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2009, at his home.
He was born Dec. 29, 1944, in Topeka, the son of Joseph V. and Juanita L. Rubottom Logan. He graduated from Lecompton High School.
Mr. Logan was a farmer, rancher and outdoorsman.
He married Clydeen M. Petersilie on April 24, 1971, in Lecompton. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include three daughters, Brenda R. Rhoades, Lecompton, Georgia R. Hollis and husband Matt, Valley Falls, and Sara R. Thomas and husband Alan, Silver Lake; and four grandchildren, Brittany and Dustin Rhoades, Brodie Hollis and Alissa Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Parker-Price Chapel, 245 N.W. Independence, Topeka, where the family will meet friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
