Gary L. Lathrom 1951 - 2009 Lawrence
Memorial services for Gary L. Lathrom, 58, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the North Lawrence Christian Church, 647 Elm St. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Lathrom died Saturday, Oct. 10, 2009, at his home in rural North Lawrence.
He was born Feb. 20, 1951, in Salinas, Calif., the son of Loman Hoover and Estalene Lela Perkins Lathrom.
He was a 1969 graduate of Lawrence High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked for Schendel Pest Control of Lawrence for the past 20 years.
Survivors include his parents, of Lawrence; two sisters, Brenda Curtiss, Chubbuck, Idaho, and Linda Zook, Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lathrom.
The family suggests memorials to the Gary Lathrom Memorial Fund, sent in care of the Lawrence Funeral Chapel, 3821 W. Sixth St., Lawrence, KS 66049.
