James M. Jeffries 1960 - 2009 Topeka
Memorial services for James M. Jeffries, 49, Topeka, will be at a later date. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Jeffries died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, at the St. Francis Hospital in Topeka.
He was born June 15, 1960, in Lawrence, the son of James and Jean Lilly Jeffries. He attended Baldwin High School.
Mr. Jeffries worked as a truck driver, most recently for Miers Ready Mix of Topeka. He was a member of the Light of The World Christian Center in Topeka.
He married Karen E. Duncan on Dec. 18, 1987, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his father, Overbrook; and a brother, Ronald and wife Carol Jeffries, Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Jetta Larsen.
Lawrence Funeral Chapel & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
