Marian Edna Montgomery

Linwood — Graveside services for Marian Edna Montgomery, 86, Merriam, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the LeNape Cemetery in Linwood.
Mrs. Montgomery died Monday, Oct. 5, 2009, at the Trinity Lutheran Rehabilitation Center in Merriam.
She was born Nov. 22, 1922, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Harry Clarence and Leona Barnett Cramer.
Mrs. Montgomery worked for 10 years at the Johnson County Nutritional Center and was also a homemaker. She was a musician and was a member of the Harmonicettes.
She married John Robert Deshazer on June 16, 1940. He preceded her in death. She then married Norman Montgomery. He preceded her in death in 1996.
She was also preceded in death by one son, James E. Deshazer, in 2000; a daughter, Rosemary Potter, in 2005; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.
Survivors include a son, Robert C. “Bob” Deshazer, Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Lawrence Funeral Chapel, 3821 W. Sixth St., Lawrence.
