Carl Nels Arentson

A private inurnment service for Carl Nels Arentson, 45, Eskridge, will be on Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
Mr. Arentson died Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at Stormont-Vail Regional Health Center in Topeka.
He was born on July 16, 1964, in Lawrence, the son of Carsten and Judith Lampinen Arentson.
Mr. Arentson was a 1983 graduate of Lawrence High School and formerly lived in Lawrence before moving to Eskridge. He was disabled.
He was an avid sports fan, especially of KU basketball and football.
Survivors include three sisters, Ingrid M. Pearson, Oak Park, Ill., Christine A. Arentson, Lawrence, and Karen Arentson, Chesterfield, Mo.
The family will greet friends at a memorial gathering from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday at The Eldridge Hotel, in the All-American Room.
The family suggests memorials to the Kansas Chapter of National Alliance for the Mentally Ill (NAMI), the Bert Nash Mental Health Center or the Thrive Counseling Center in Oak Park, Ill., sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
Mr. Arentson donated his organs for transplant through the Midwest Transplant Network.
