Mary Lee Robertson

Baldwin City — Funeral services for Mary Lee Robertson, 68, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Ives Chapel United Methodist Church, Baldwin City. Burial will be at the Vinland Cemetery.
Mrs. Robertson died Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, at Baldwin Healthcare and Rehabilitation.
She was born Sept. 13, 1941, in Stilwell, the daughter of Beulah Bertha Smiley and Wilbur Kneedler. She was raised by her mother and stepfather, Herb Williams.
Mrs. Robertson worked at Hallmark Cards, Target and Checkers, all in Lawrence. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and attending their activities, coffee time with her friends, collecting swans and watching Kansas University athletics.
She married John Robertson on March 11, 1961, in Miami, Okla. He died March 4, 2001.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert “Bob,” Melvin and Bill Kneedler.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Robertson and wife Susan, Olathe, and Roger Robertson and wife Dana, Baldwin City; a daughter, Janet Pape and husband John, Baldwin City; a brother, Kenneth Kneedler, Culver City, Calif.; three sisters, Betty Peek, Glendale, Ariz., Linda Jackson and husband Wayne, Baldwin City, and Patricia Pace and husband Tom, Chandler, Ariz.; and seven grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home in Baldwin City.
