E.L. Fulks

Mountain View, Ark. — A funeral Mass for E.L. Fulks, 76, Edinburg, Texas, was Monday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Mountain View. Burial was at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Pleasant Grove, Ark.
Mr. Fulks died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at Edinburg. He was a former resident of the Lawrence and Eudora, Kan., area.
He was born July 13, 1933, in Mountain View, the son of Downy and Julia Fulks.
Mr. Fulks was a carpenter. He moved with his wife to the Lawrence area, where they lived for 25 years before moving to Edinburg 15 years ago. He joined the Catholic Church in 1983 and was a parishioner of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Edinburg.
He married Carol Kelley on April 26, 1954. They shared 55 years of marriage. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Richard, Colorado, and Roger, Eudora; a daughter, Ronda Parker; two sisters, Laverne Graves, Baldwin City, Kan., and Ruby Dewey, Edinburg; a brother, Bobby Ray, Edinburg; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandchild.
Roller Crouch Funeral Home, Mountain View, was in charge of arrangements.
