Jason P. Kenney

Memorial services for Jason P. “Stinky” Kenney, 21, Lecompton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the American Legion Post 142 in Perry. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lecompton.
Mr. Kenney died Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, at Kansas University Hospital, Kansas City, Kan., from injuries suffered in a car/motorcycle accident Nov. 6 near the Lecompton interchange of the Kansas Turnpike.
He was born Aug. 12, 1988, in Lawrence, the son of Richard Paul and Delpha Irene Dines Kenney. He attended schools in Perry and Lecompton, and graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School in 2007.
Mr. Kenney was a carpenter in the construction industry, and had worked for Howard Stultz Construction and Marley Cooling Tower Co. He was a member of the Carpenter’s Union.
Survivors include a daughter, Sophia Kaylyn Miller-Kenney, of Texas; and his parents, Lecompton.
