Pete Dominque Nance

Graveside services for Pete Dominque Nance, 22, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 20 at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Nance died Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 17, 1987, in Topeka, the son of James S. Nance and Donna E. Fulton.
Mr. Nance graduated from Free State High School in 2005. He attended South Junior High and Broken Arrow School. He played football with the Lawrence Youth Football League and later played for South Junior High. He worked in food service and catering at Kansas University.
Survivors include a daughter, Nyla Nance, Lawrence; his mother, of Lawrence; his father, of Topeka; four brothers, Lance Atkins, James and Gene Nance and Calvin Coleman, all of Lawrence; maternal grandmother, Phyllis Fulton, Lawrence; paternal grandmother, Carolyn Nance, Topeka; and a sister, Shelby Nelson, Topeka.
A prayer service and visitation will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Douglas County Visiting Nurses, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care or the American Cancer Society, sent in care of the mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
