William D. Morehead 1956 - 2009 Baldwin City
A celebration of life for William D. “Bill” Morehead Jr., 52, rural Baldwin City, will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Morehead estate.
Mr. Morehead died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his home after a short illness.
He was born Nov. 25, 1956, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Dr. William D. and Ruth Joy Evans Morehead.
Mr. Morehead was president of Morehead Inc., a commercial design company.
Survivors include a brother, Paul and wife Carol, Fairfield, Iowa; a nephew, Paul Jr.; a niece, Camille; companion and business partner Michael Lawrence; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and partner Jimmy Giordano.
The family suggests memorials to Douglas County Visiting Nurses, Rehabilitation and Hospice Care.
