Bob Graves

Funeral services for Bob Graves, 74, Baldwin City, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Baldwin City.
Mr. Graves died Sunday, Nov. 1, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 21, 1934, in West Plains, Mo., the son of Charles and Bertha Graves.
Mr. Graves attended school in West Plains, and later served in the U.S. Navy. He worked at the Delco Battery Plant in Olathe for 20 years. Mr. Graves was also an area farmer and rancher.
He married Margaret Laverne Fulks on Jan 7, 1956, in Eudora. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Thomas Monroe Graves, Eldon, Mo.; two daughters, Terry Graves Sloan, Leawood, and Annette Graves Elder, Baldwin City; a brother, Roy Neal Graves, Brazito, Mo.; five sisters, Marie “Todd” Mullins, Greeley, Colo., Carol Fulks, Edinburg, Texas, Pat Eisenbarger, Grove, Okla., Connie Davidson, Houston, and Linda Bowers, of Arizona; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Midland Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
