Lois Eileen Clements

Wellsville — Graveside services for Lois Eileen Clements, 87, of Kansas City, Kan., will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Wellsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Clements died Sunday, May 24, 2009, in Kansas City, Kan.
She was born June 6, 1921, south of Iowa City, Iowa, near Old Man’s Creek, the daughter of Clay Revy and Neva Marie Zager Johnson.
Mrs. Clements had worked as a waitress in the Kansas City area. She was a member of a dance group in Lawrence.
She married Clifford Ernest Dade in 1939. They were married for 28 years and had six children. She married Horace Clements in 1976 and they enjoyed 29 years together. He preceded her in death in 2005.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Jerry Keith Dade in 1954 and Edward Ray Dade in 1975; brothers Alton Johnson and Donald Johnson; and sister Iola.
Survivors include two sisters, Melva Ellsworth of Iowa City, Iowa, and Farice Marie Gauthier and husband Greg of Denver; four children, Gene Dade and wife Marilyn and Marvin Dade and wife Marlene, all of Kansas City, Kan., Joyce Whitaker and husband Ed, of Carencro, La., and Bob McCarn and wife Connie, of Norman, Okla.; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one on the way; and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will meet friends at 2 p.m. Thursday, before the services, at Bruce Funeral Home in Gardner.
