Alice Marie Hubert

A Mass of Christian Burial for Alice Marie Hubert, 88, Concordia, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Concordia. Burial will follow the services at St. Concordia Cemetery.
Mrs. Hubert died Monday, May 25, 2009, at her home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1921, in Concordia, the daughter of William “Bill” and Eva Peltier Giroux. She graduated from Concordia High School.
Mrs. Hubert work for Concordia Creamery for four years. She later worked for more than 20 years at St. Joseph Hospital in Concordia as a nurse’s aid, retiring in 1984.
Mrs. Hubert was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and a former member of the Altar Society, and the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
She married Albert Hubert on July 24, 1946, in Concordia. He survives.
Other survivors include a son, Ron Hubert, Concordia; two daughters, Sharon Stallings, Lawrence, and Karen Lagerstrom, Eudora; six grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Duane Hubert.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, where a vigil service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
