Janet Delaine Riley

Funeral services for Janet Delaine Riley, 46, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, Kan.
Ms. Riley died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at Kansas University Hospital, Kansas City, Kan.
She was born Dec. 9, 1962, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Martha Chaney Regan. She grew up in Oklahoma and Lawrence and graduated from Lawrence High School. She obtained certified nursing assistant certification in Kansas and Missouri.
Ms. Riley worked as a housekeeper and nurse’s aide at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
Survivors include a son, Johnathan Michael Riley, of the home; a daughter, Michelle Chanhkhiao and husband Soun, Lawrence; her mother and stepfather, Pat Regan, Lawrence; three sisters, Joyce Chaney, Lawrence, Jodell Chaney, Wichita, and Billie Jo Chaney, Lawrence; three grandchildren, Tamika, Kaden and Onesa; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny.
Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the Janet Riley Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
