Danny Lynn Prather 1962 - 2009 Eudora
Perkins, Okla. — A memorial service for Danny Lynn Prather, 47, Eudora, Kan., was held Saturday, May 16, at the Waymon Lodge in Perkins with Jimmy Gregory officiating. Burial was in Iowa Tribal Cemetery in Perkins.
Mr. Prather died Monday, May 11, 2009, in Lawrence.
He was born Jan. 27, 1962, in Pawnee, the son of Frank and Hattie Dole Prather. He graduated from Little Elm High School in 1980.
Mr. Prather worked for Large Construction Company. He later owned his own company, AmeriDan, in Lawrence, Kan. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and woodworking. He was a musician and played in a small band in Texas.
He married “Sunshine” Polmanteer on April 28, 2006, in Arkansas. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his parents; three sons, Daniel and wife Serena, Kaufman, Texas, and Jared and Joel, both of Mesquite, Texas; two grandchildren, Sherman Prather and Louvica Prather; one brother, Jeffery Rice, Kentucky; and two sisters, Alicia Bowden and husband Harold, Texas, and Cara Miller and husband Tim, Tecumseh, Okla.; an aunt, Sharon Dole; two cousins, Jessica and Sean; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents and a sister, Sherie LouNell Alberson.
