Faye Gammill

Funeral services for Faye Gammill, 77, Ponca City, Okla., will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Roller-Crouch Chapel in Mountain View, with Bro. David Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Big Springs Cemetery in Newnata, Ark.
Mrs. Gammill died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Willow Haven Nursing Home in Tonkawa, Okla.
She was born April 16, 1932, in Mountain View, the daughter of Lee H. and Telecia O. Hardin.
Mrs. Gammill was a former resident of Eudora, Kan. She worked for and retired from Hercules Inc. in De Soto, Kan., and also worked for Eudora public schools. She was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Eudora and a member of Northeast Baptist Church in Ponca City.
She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family and close friends.
She married Conway Gammill on July 27, 1950, in Mountain View. He died Jan. 14, 2006.
She also was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include a son, Michael and wife Diana, Ponca City; two sisters-in-law, Marie Engles, Ottawa, Kan., and Imojean Rainbolt, Marshall, Ark.; two grandchildren, Paul and Jennifer Gammill; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the chapel.
