Louise L. Faulkner-Glenn

Funeral services for Louise L. Faulkner-Glenn, 94, Topeka, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Dove Funeral Home in Topeka. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
Mrs. Faulkner-Glenn died Friday, May 8, 2009, in Topeka.
She was born Jan. 11, 1915, in Perry, the daughter of Jesse R. and Edna Pearl Decker Michael. She moved with her parents in 1929 to Topeka, where she spent most of her life. She had lived in Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska and moved back to Topeka in 1950.
Mrs. Faulkner-Glenn was a member of the Rebekah Oakland 616 Lodge, the Rebekah Nations Club and the West Side Christian Church. She worked at Frisby’s Sewing Notions store in Topeka until she retired in 1974.
She married Roy R. Faulkner in 1935. He preceded her in death April 18, 1981.
She married Ivan Francis Glenn on Aug. 24, 1988, in Bentonville, Ark., and lived part-time on the farm in Lecompton. He also preceded her in death, on May 5, 2001.
Survivors include a stepdaughter, Sylvia McCollum, McLouth; a stepson, Robert Glenn, Lecompton; a sister, LaVada R. Schlegel, Branson, Mo.; and eight nieces and nephews.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral chapel, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
