Jeffry Michael Nelson 1965 - 2009 Frankfort, Ky.
An inurnment and memorial service for Jeffry Michael Nelson, 43, Frankfort, Ky., will be at 11 a.m. May 23 at the Ozawkie Cemetery.
Mr. Nelson died Feb. 6, 2009, following a brief illness. He was a former resident of Midway.
He was born July 9, 1965, the son of Joann Brunton, formerly of Perry, and Michael Nelson.
Mr. Nelson graduated from Woodford County High School and received an associate’s degree in animal science from the Anchorage Community College in Alaska. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1984 to 1988. He worked at Fawn Leap Farm as manager, then at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
Survivors include his parents; two sons, Joshua and Jeremy; a daughter, Katie; a sister, Jean Kilbaine; and a half-brother, Joseph Hood.
The family suggests memorials to Old Friends Equine, 1841 Paynes Depot Road, Georgetown, KY 40324.
