Constance Lorene Milleret

A graveside service for Constance Lorene Milleret, 87, Linwood, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Milleret died Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 29, 1922, in Tonganoxie, the daughter of John and Lulu Boles North. She graduated from Liberty Memorial High School in 1941. She also graduated from Lawrence Business College.
Mrs. Milleret worked at the Sunflower Army Ordnance Plant in De Soto as a mail carrier during World War II. After the war, she worked in the Douglas County Treasurer’s office. Later, she was a dairy farmer until retirement.
She married Henry J. Milleret in November 1947 in Lawrence. He preceded her in death in 1983. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
Survivors include a son, Dennis and wife Carolyn, Lawrence; two granddaughters, Pamela and Leanne; a twin brother, Conrad, Utah; and a sister, Audrey Hummelegaard, Lawrence.
The family will meet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to a charity of the donor’s choice, sent in care of the mortuary.
