Virginia A. Proctor

Memorial services for Virginia A. “Ginny” Proctor, 62, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ Community Church in Lawrence. Private inurnment will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lawrence.
She died Sunday, May 3, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born Dec. 28, 1946, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of John and Virginia Allen Keller.
Ms. Proctor was formerly a cosmetologist and owned the Hair Affair Salon. Prior to her illness, she was a representative for Redken Products.
She was a member of the Christ Community Church and an MS Support Group.
Survivors include two daughters, Monica Markway, Baldwin City, and Jessica Beeson, Lawrence; her companion, Richard Steward, of the home; her former husband, Bob Proctor, Lawrence; one brother, John Keller, Florida; and four grandchildren, Elias Beeson, Jillian Markway, Jacklyn Markway and Hazel Beeson.
The family will greet friends at the church following the service.
