Mary Jo Fischer 1935 - 2009 Perry
Mass of Christian Burial for Mary Jo Fischer, 73, Perry, will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Theresa Church in Perry. Burial will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Perry.
Miss Fischer died Thursday, March 5, 2009, at Hickory Pointe Care Center in Oskaloosa.
She was born Sept. 14, 1935, in St. Marys, the daughter of Cornelia F. Trude Fischer. She graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1954.
Miss Fischer lived most of her life in the Perry community. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church and St. Theresa Ladies Altar Society in Perry and a member of the Perry Riral Hope Club.
Survivors include a brother, John Fischer, Baldwin City, and extended family, including an aunt, uncle and many cousins.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa.
