John A. Orrick Jr.

Leavenworth — Graveside memorial services for John A. Orrick Jr., 74, Basehor, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Mr. Orrick died Monday, June 8, 2009.
He was born Feb. 27, 1934, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John and Elizabeth Stubbs Orrick.
He was an U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and worked as manager of the poultry division of Farmland Industries in Kansas City, Kan.
He married Sandra Meyers on Feb. 14, 1975, in Olathe. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, John III, Basehor; two stepsons, Curtis Jardon, Piper, and David Jardon, Lansing; four brothers; six sisters; and two grandsons.
