Marjorie Helen LeRoux

Graveside services for Marjorie Helen LeRoux, 79, Lawrence, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the Underwood Cemetery in Williamstown.
Mrs. LeRoux died Sunday, July 26, 2009, at the Indian Meadows Healthcare Center in Overland Park.
She was born April 19, 1930, in Gillum, Mo., the daughter of Marvin L. Sr. and Velma Pearl Batson Cleek. She attended Buck Creek School and graduated from Perry High School.
Mrs. LeRoux worked for several fraternities and sororities at Kansas University until her retirement in 1991.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and playing bingo.
She married Herman LeRoux on Nov. 4, 1952, in Oskaloosa. They lived in the Williamstown area for many years until moving to Lawrence in the late 1960s. He survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Eric LeRoux, Lawrence; two daughters, Deborah J. Feist and husband Art, Lawrence, and Lynda L. Wilson and husband Jerry, Eudora; a brother, Leonard Cleek, Lawrence; four grandchildren, Erin Feist Lewis, Phillip LeRoux, Chad Wilson and Amy Wilson; and four great-grandchildren, Brayden Lewis, Jessica LeRoux, Jeremy LeRoux and Paige Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Lester Cleek.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
