Dorothy Chloe Foster

Neodesha — Graveside services for Dorothy Chloe Foster, 90, Baldwin City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Neodesha Cemetery.
Mrs. Foster died Wednesday, July 22, 2009, in Baldwin City.
She was born Oct. 24, 1918, in Green, the daughter of William and Mary Alice Walker Mitchell.
Mrs. Foster was a homemaker and member of Lighthouse Baptist Church in Baldwin City. In 1999, she moved from Altoona to Baldwin City to be closer to her family.
She married Daniel E. Foster on July 4, 1941, in Manhattan. He died May 22, 1998.
She also was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Alice.
Survivors include a son, Larry Foster, Topeka; three daughters, Susan Stewart, Manhattan, Connie Leahew, Baldwin City, and Roberta Harper, Tulsa, Okla.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Penwell-Gabel Loran Fawcett Chapel, 704 Indiana, Neodesha.
The family suggests memorials to the building fund of the church, or Heart of American Hospice, sent in care of the funeral home.
