Raymond F. Mayberry

Graveside services for Raymond F. “Chip” Mayberry Jr., 58, Lawrence, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Mayberry died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Overland Park Regional Medical Center.
He was born Oct. 16, 1950, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Raymond F. Sr. and Sara Holmes Mayberry. He attended school in Kansas City, Mo.
Mr. Mayberry was employed as a maintenance worker at Stokley-Van Camp for 10 years. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
He married Brenda Marie Grammer on Dec. 25, 2002, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two sons, Jeremy Farnsworth, Lawrence, and Gy Grammer, Weir; two brothers, William Mayberry and Lee House, both of Lawrence; three sisters, Laura and Kim House and Pamela Henderson, all of Lawrence; a grandson, Dylan Farnsworth; eight nieces, five nephews, four great-nieces and 10 great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Cheek.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today.
The family suggests memorials to the Chip Mayberry Memorial Fund, sent in care of the funeral home.
