Leota Delores Auld

Private burial services for Leota Delores Auld, 97, Eudora, will be at a later date at Madura Cemetery in Clay County.
Mrs. Auld died Tuesday, July 21, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She had lived at Drury Place in Lawrence for seven years.
She was born March 4, 1912, in Oklahoma City, the daughter of James and Agnes Foster Harrell.
She attended Emporia State College.
She was a teacher in the Geary County school system for many years. She was a member of the Methodist church.
She married James Erichsen Auld on Aug. 7, 1939, in Cottonwood Falls. He preceded her in death May 13, 1995.
Survivors include a daughter, Doris L. Darnell, Lawrence; two sons, James H., Manhattan, and Glenn A., Springfield, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
