Elliott Willis Pulliam 1943 - 2009 Oklahoma
Funeral services for Elliott Willis Pulliam, 64, Oklahoma, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Pulliam died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at his home.
He was born Dec. 9, 1943, in Lawton, Okla., the son of Tom and Louisa Bacon Pulliam.
Mr. Pulliam received his associate degree from Haskell Indian Nations University. He served during the Vietnam conflict. He was an electrician at Haskell. He received various certificates for his work and activities.
Mr. Pulliam was a member of the Haskell Veterans Club and the American Legion in Lexington, Okla. He was a member of the Chickasaw Nation.
He married Etta Mae Pulliam on March 18, 1971. She preceded him in death in April 2006.
Survivors include two sons, Matthew and Jewett Michael Jimboy, both of Lawrence; a sister, Patricia, Bethany, Okla.; and 12 grandchildren.
The family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Haskell Veterans Club, sent in care of the mortuary, 120 W. 13th St., Lawrence, KS 66044.
