Norma Jean Huhs Larson

Oskaloosa — Prayer services for Norma Jean Huhs Larson, 73, Perry, will be 4 p.m. Sunday at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, 820 Liberty St., Oskaloosa. Cremation is planned after the services.
Ms. Larson died Wednesday, July 15, 2009, in Topeka, at St. Francis Hospital’s emergency room.
She was born Feb. 11, 1936, in Keene, the daughter of Gus Henry and Nellie Anis Winsor Huhs.
Ms. Larson lived in Perry most of her life and graduated from Perry Rural High School in 1954. She worked as an account clerk in the Biological Sciences Department at Kansas University. Ms. Larson retired March 31, 2001, after 25 years. She had formerly worked at the Allis Chalmers Company and at Merchant’s Bank, both in Topeka.
Survivors include two sisters, Irene M. Dannar, Waynoka, Okla., and Donna L. Ackors, Perry; her stepfather, Charles E. Sparks, Olathe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Gerald G. Huhs and John Huhs.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday before the prayer service at the funeral home.
