Warren Leon Oshel

Services for Warren Leon Oshel, 61, Lawrence, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Burial will be Silent City Cemetery, De Soto.
Mr. Oshel died Friday, July 3, 2009 at his home.
He was born July 12, 1948, in Gardner, the son of Everett Ernest and Elizabeth Isabelle McMacken Oshel.
Mr. Oshel worked in the construction trade as a carpenter, roofer, landscaper, and a mechanic. He enjoyed mud racing and was a member of AA.
He married Sharon Lee McMullen on June 13, 1990, in Eureka Springs, Ark. Together they celebrated 19 years of marriage. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four sons, Todd Joseph Oshel, Kevin Wayne Oshel and Adam Keith Oshel, all of Lawrence, and Robert Alan Kincheloe, Overbrook; two daughters, Terrie Lee Reiff, Abilene, and Teresa Lyn Kincheloe, Lawrence; four brothers, Roger “Neil,” Big Springs, Ernest, Eudora, and Raymond and Marvin, both of Lawrence; two sisters, Patricia Sedgewick, Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Virginia Oshel, Eudora; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.
The family suggests memorials to Alcoholics Anonymous, sent in care of the funeral home.
