Leota “Lee” Ross

Memorial services for Leota “Lee” Ross, 81, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Eudora.
Mrs. Ross died Tuesday, June 30, 2009, in Eudora, from complications of Lou Gehrig’s disease.
She was born April 5, 1928, in Great Bend, the daughter of Adolph and Ethel Unruh.
Mrs. Ross worked as administrative assistant to the dean of the College of Business at Kansas State University from 1963 to 1986. She then opened Ross Secretarial Service and finished her career at AIB in Manhattan.
She was a member of the Happy Hatters Red Hat Club. She volunteered at her nursing home playing the piano.
She married William Ross in Manhattan. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include three sons, Steve and Jeff Ross, both of Eudora, and Craig Ross, Marietta, Ga.; three daughters, Jen Ross, Mitchell, S.D., Kay Wood, Kansas City, Mo., and Karla Kinyon, Plankinton, S.D.; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
