Eric S. Smith 1959 - 2009 Lawrence
A private inurnment for Eric S. Smith, 49, Lawrence, will be at Topeka Cemetery.Mr. Smith died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2009.He was born June 22, 1959, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Virgil B. and Alice Beeghly Smith.Mr. Smith served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Ranger and was employed at Kansas University Facilities Operations.He married Terry L. Taylor on Dec. 7, 1988, in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include three children, Brandi, Neal, and Erica, all of Lawrence; and his mother, Alice Kinder, Topeka.The family suggest memorials to the American Cancer Society, 1315 SW Arrowhead Road, Topeka, KS 66604.
