Frederick Irwin Triggs 1911 - 2009 Lawrence
No services are planned for Fredrick Irwin Triggs, 97, Lawrence. Burial of cremains will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Triggs died Thursday, Jan. 15, 2009, at a Lawrence care facility.He was born Sept. 26, 1911, in Valley Falls, the son of John R. and Lora Crowe Triggs. He graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1930.Mr. Triggs served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He had worked as a butler in Alabama.Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls is in charge of arrangements.
