Mass of Christian Burial for Ramon E. Romero, Sr., 88, Lawrence, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Burial with military honors will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Mr. Romero died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, after which the family will meet friends.
The family suggests memorials to the American Lung Association of Kansas, sent in care of the mortuary.
