JL Bolinger

Funeral services for JL Bolinger, 81, Nortonville, were Monday at the O’Trimble Funeral Home in Nortonville. Burial followed in the Nortonville Cemetery.
Mr. Bolinger died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, at the Village Villa Nursing Home of Nortonville.
He was born on May 7, 1928, in Huntsville, Ark., the son of James and Alice Johnson Bolinger. He went to school in Huntsville, finishing nine grades before leaving to help on the family farm.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954. He farmed in the Nortonville area with his wife.
He married Lorraine Jones on Oct. 1, 1955, in Winchester. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a son, Wayne, Lansing; a daughter, Annette Christine Barnes, Eudora; a brother, Charles, Valley, Mo.; six sisters, Maxine Beal and Lorene Bolinger, both of Wichita, Lavera MacAfee and Vina Kidd, both of Huntsville, Ark., Lucille Collins, Springdale, Ark., and Polly Majors of Beaumont, Texas; and four grandchildren.
