A memorial service for Nancy Adelaide Tomlinson Roderick, 84, Salina, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Christ Episcopal Cathedral in Salina.
Mrs. Roderick died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009, at her home
She was born May 22, 1925, in Independence, Kan. She was the daughter of Victor Rees Tomlinson and Marjorie Smith Tomlinson and stepdaughter of Marcie Tomlinson. She was raised in Fort Worth, Texas.
She graduated from Kansas University and was a lifelong member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority.
She had lived in Salina since 1955.
She married Dr. James Evan Roderick Jr. at Christ Church in Greenwich, Conn. They were married 62 years. He survives.
Other survivors include her children, Rees Roderick Olander, Indianapolis, David E. Roderick and Richard A. Roderick, both of Los Angeles, John T. Roderick, Boulder, Colo., and Melinda Besnoin; a sister, Mary Patricia Tomlinson Roth, Lawrence; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
