Karen Sue Stamey 1954 - 2009 Decatur, Texas
Memorial services for Karen Sue Stamey, 54, Decatur, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at First Baptist Church in Aurora with the Rev. John Stewart officiating.
Ms. Stamey died Thursday, Dec. 24, 2009, in Decatur.
She was born Dec. 27, 1954, in Topeka, Kan., the daughter of Leroy and Roberta Barrett Murren.
Ms. Stamey worked for Outreach Health Services as a community service aide and was a member of Aurora Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Ryan and wife Crystal, Decatur, and Matthew and wife Nicole, Bowie; a daughter, Kelly Mills and husband Tom, Lake Bridgeport, Texas; her father, of Overbrook, Kan.; a brother, Wayne Murren, Lawrence, Kan.; six grandchildren, Ava, Symphony, Brook, Xander, Laci and J.T.; a cousin, Shawna Curtis; two aunts, Winona Plummer and Helen May; and an uncle, William Barrett.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
