William Dean Wilson

Memorial services for William Dean “Bill” Wilson, 75, Lawrence, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Eskridge United Methodist Church, 301 Pine St., Eskridge. Private inurnment will be in Eskridge Cemetery.
Mr. Wilson died Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at his home.
He was born April 16, 1934, in Eskridge, the son of Clarence and Eunice Marie Shaw Wilson. He graduated from Eskridge High School in 1952.
Mr. Wilson had been a civil service employee of the federal government. He moved to Lawrence when he retired and worked part time at the Kansas Union Bookstore.
He was a member of Eskridge United Methodist Church. He was a fan of Kansas University sports.
Survivors include a brother, Jim and wife Judy, Maple Hill; a niece, Jill Dupler; and a great-niece, Paige.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant sister, Margaret.
