David D. Louk 1951 - 2009 Raymore, Mo.

Memorial services for David D. “D.D.” Louk, 58, Raymore, Mo., will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Louk died Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at his residence.
He was born Jan. 3, 1951, in Parsons, the son of Noland Clifford and Letha Irene Dillon Louk. He attended school in Abilene and graduated from Pomona High School. He later attended Emporia State Teachers College.
Mr. Louk was a welding supervisor for Missouri Pacific Railroad, which later became Union Pacific Railroad. He retired in November 2008 after 26 years of service.
He was a member and former secretary/treasurer of Lodge 1365 of the Brotherhood of Maintenance of Way Employees.
He married Lynda M. Scott on May 31, 1984, in Jackson County, Mo. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include a sister, Sherri Meredith, Lawrence; and his mother, of Lawrence.
He was preceded in death by his father in 2006.
The family suggests memorials to the Lawrence Humane Society, sent in care of the funeral home, 601 Ind., Lawrence, KS 66044.
