Frederick E. Wilbur Meriden
Meriden — Graveside inurnment services for Frederick E. “Fred” Wilbur, 54, Meriden, will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Muddy Creek Cemetery, northwest of Meriden. Cremation is planned.
Mr. Wilbur died at his home in rural Meriden.
He was born Sept. 14, 1955, in Topeka, the son of Fredrick Jean and Judith Ann Calderwood Wilbur. He had lived in Meriden and Perry many years.
Mr. Wilbur graduated from Perry-Lecompton High School in 1974. He worked 22 years at the Hallmark Company in Topeka. He was medically retired. He had also worked as an insurance agent for several years.
Survivors include his father, Perry; a son, Derek, Meriden; two daughters, Melissa Wilbur, Lecompton, and Rebecca Wilbur, Boley, Okla.; two brothers, Galen, Perry, and Gordon, Meriden; and eight grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Fred E. Wilbur memorial fund, sent in care of Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home, P.O. Box 416, Oskaloosa, KS 66066.
