C.J. High 1919 - 2009 Lawrence
Eudora — A memorial service for C.J. High, 90, Lawrence, formerly of Tonganoxie, will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Family of Faith Fellowship, Eudora.
Mr. High died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at the Eudora Medicalodges.
He was born March 28, 1919, in Atchison, the son of John and Margaret High.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Mr. High was a truck driver for Watson Brothers Trucking in Kansas City, Mo., and owned High’s Liquor Store in Salida, Colo., and High’s Laundry Mat in Tonganoxie.
Survivors include his wife, Norma High; two sons, Michael, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Vaughn, Eudora; a daughter, Debbie Sviridova, Copper Mountain, Colo.; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
