Patricia L. Wear

McLouth — Funeral services for Patricia L. “Patty” Wear, 86, McLouth, will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the McLouth United Methodist Church. Burial will be at McLouth Cemetery.
Mrs. Wear died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 17, 1923, in McLouth, the daughter of Ray and Agnes Harding Shoemaker.
Mrs. Wear was a lifelong resident of the McLouth area and was a homemaker. She was a member of the McLouth United Methodist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit No. 393 in McLouth.
She married William “Glenn” Wear in 1944 in Kansas City, Kan. He preceded her in death Aug. 3, 2002.
Survivors include a daughter, Marsha Willis and husband Mike, Lawrence; two grandsons, Steve Shade and Chris Willis; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at Barnett-Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Oskaloosa. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Thursday, prior to services, at the church.
