Funeral services for Barbara McCandless Grodi, Lawrence, will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary. Burial will be in Hampden Cemetery in Denver.
Mrs. Grodi died Thursday, Aug. 20, 2009, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Colorado Springs, Colo., the daughter of Russell and Irma Hoop McCandless. She was raised in Portland, Colo.
Mrs. Grodi was a homemaker.
She married Wilmont C. “Bill” Grodi on Aug. 7, 1946, in Denver. He preceded her in death on Nov. 28, 2007.
She was also preceded in death by a son, Scott Grodi, in June 1976.
Survivors include a daughter, Cheri Woolsey and husband Tom, Lawrence; and two grandchildren, Ashley and Cole Woolsey.
The family will greet friends from 5 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, sent in care of the mortuary.
