Daniel Clayton Lewick 1917 - 2009 Lincoln
Lincoln — Services for Daniel Clayton Lewick, 91, Lincoln, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Hall Funeral Home Chapel in Lincoln. Burial will be in Lincoln City Cemetery.
Mr. Lewick died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, in Lincoln.
He was born Dec. 23, 1917, in rural Lincoln County, the son of Alvin Bryan and Emma Walters Lewick.
Mr. Lewick was a military veteran of World War II.
He worked as a rural mail carrier. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia.
Survivors include a son, Dan Boone Lewick, Lincoln; a daughter, Lleanna McReynolds, Lawrence; a brother, Robert Lewick, Lincoln; a sister, Betty Crawford, Lincoln; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, where the family will meet them from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the Lincoln Art Center, sent in care of the funeral home, 111 E. Elm St., Lincoln, KS 67455.
