Charles E. Gallagher 1950 - 2009 Perry

Graveside services for Charles E. “Chick” Gallagher, 59, Perry, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sutton Cemetery, rural Baldwin City.
Mr. Gallagher died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
He was born May 23, 1950, in Leavenworth, the son of Robert and Maxine Oaks Gallagher.
Mr. Gallagher retired from Koch Transportation.
He married Kathy Gilliland on May 21, 1978, in Lawrence. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include his mother, of Lawrence; a daughter, Sarah Leal and husband Jacob, Perry; two sons, Charles and companion Shannon Hook, Topeka, and Brian, Perry; a sister, Carol Stowe and husband Earl, Lawrence; a brother-in-law, Gary and wife Judy Gilliland, Lawrence; two sisters-in-law, Trudy Gilliland, Lawrence, and Marsha Fowler and husband Richard, Lawrence; and two grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to the Sutton Cemetery Fund, sent in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary.
