James Earnest Chesher

Funeral services for James Earnest Chesher, 25, Baldwin City, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary in Lawrence. Cremation will follow.
Mr. Chesher died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, at Kansas University Hospital, Kansas City, Kan.
He was born Sept. 14, 1983, in Indianapolis, the son of James Ray Kirby and Lesley Jean Chesher.
Mr. Chesher was a welder and had worked for Tradesman International. He was a member of the Professional Disc Golf Association. Mr. Chesher enjoyed fishing, riding his dirt bike and spending time with his two daughters.
He married Elizabeth Marie Beaulieu on May 23, 2009, in Gardner. She survives, of the home.
Other survivors include two daughters, Taya Behr Chesher, of the home, and Kylie Passwaters, Ozark, Mo.; his mother, Peculiar, Mo.; his father, Indiana; a brother, Shane, Peculiar; three sisters, Heather Collins, Harrison-ville, Mo., and Brook and Shelby Chesher, both of Peculiar; his grandmother, Jerry Branham, Indianapolis; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Laura Beaulieu, Baldwin City.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. Sunday until service time at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to the James E. Chesher Memorial Fund for his children’s educational fund, sent in care of the mortuary or the Kansas State Bank in Baldwin City.
