Shawn H. Horton Broken Arrow, Okla.
Tulsa, Okla. — Services for Shawn H. Horton, 55, Broken Arrow, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Christ United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
Mr. Horton died Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009, in Tulsa.
He had earned a bachelor’s degree and was working on a master’s degree.
Mr. Horton was involved in law enforcement all his adult life and was a sergeant with the Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office. He previously worked for the Topeka Correctional Facility.
His wife, Reva Horton, survives, of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Moriah Pearce, Seneca West and Tonja Tucker, all of Cherokee, and Jennifer Hackler, Tulsa; a son, David, Broken Arrow; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Kim, Eudora, Kan.; and four sisters, Sharon Ripperger and Cindy Horton, both of Galena, Mo., Novale Horton, Lecompton, Kan., and Jill Bleil, Leavenworth, Kan.
The family will meet friends from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Christian-Gavlik Funeral Home Chapel, 222 West Broadway, Broken Arrow.
