Mildred Lucille Weibel

Funeral services for Mildred Lucille Weibel, 91, Lawrence, will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Weibel died Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at Alterra Clare Bridge in Topeka.
She was born Aug. 17, 1917, in Lexington, Okla., the daughter of Levi E. and Lucille Neville Daniels. She attended White School in North Lawrence, and later Eudora High School.
Mrs. Weibel was a homemaker and worked on the family farm. She was a 65-year member of the Jefferson County Farm Bureau. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
She married Lloyd Charles Weibel on Dec. 16, 1936, in Oskaloosa. He died May 15, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Hadl and Darlene Wingert; two brothers, Levi and Clarence Daniels; and two grandchildren.
Survivors include a son, Robert C., Lawrence; two daughters, DeLores Biery, Franktown, Colo., and Judi Schreiner, Topeka; four brothers, Don, Alvin, and Robert Daniels, all of Lawrence, and Norman Daniels, Lecompton; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, where the family will receive them from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Foundation, or Heart of America Hospice, in care of the funeral home.
