Howard L. Graham

Topeka — Services for Howard L. Graham, 77, of Topeka, will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Penwell-Gabel Mid Town Chapel, Topeka. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery.
Mr. Graham died Saturday, Aug. 1, 2009, at his home.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1931, in Ottawa, the son of Cleveland and Ethel “Irene” Price Graham. He lived in Lawrence from his childhood until moving to Topeka in 1979.
Mr. Graham was a truck driver and was employed by Hamm Asphalt Company for 20 years. He then became a self-employed truck driver until his retirement in 1985.
He married Evelyn L. Toyne on Oct. 10, 1953. She preceded him in death on July 22, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L. and Stephen W., both of Topeka; three grandchildren; two great-grandsons; one sister, Marge Rocker, of Lawrence; and two brothers, Harold, of Oklahoma City, and Garland, of McLouth.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will receive them from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.
